Band Club is about supporting Sydney's up and coming original artists and nurturing the music scene as a whole. We know how hard it can be for artists to get people to attend their gigs and concurrently how hard it can be for music lovers to find gigs to go to. We bridge that gap. We traul through websites, social media and streaming services to select an event that is not only great, but fits the Band Club values.

GIVING BACK TO THE INDUSTRY

We're often asked the question, "Do you put on original music?" and while we've attempted to organise original music nights there was an issue with attendance.

 

We began to answer the question with a question, "When did you last go see a local original music act?" We were met with shrugs of the shoulders or stories of how good it used to be. We would discuss the industry with the and propose that if everyone in Sydney went to one gig a month, there would be a thriving scene. Finally, it was time for us to put up or shut up.

Band Club was born!

Starting with organising a group of people to attend an unaffiliated original music night once a month, Band Club endeavours to bring together music lovers to embrace the local scene once more and put money into the hands of  the artists and venues that support this magical art form.
